Subject prioritiesBuild a syllabus-led Maths and Science plan
CBSE publishes a separate Class 10 syllabus for 2026–27. Use its linked Mathematics and Science documents to check chapter scope and assessment, rather than treating an old textbook contents page as the examination syllabus.
01Mathematics
Organise revision around number systems, algebra, coordinate geometry, geometry, trigonometry, mensuration, statistics and probability. Explain each method, complete the relevant NCERT exercises and check multi-step working. Match sample-paper practice to Basic or Standard Mathematics as registered with the school.
02Science
Plan chemistry through reactions, acids, bases and salts, metals and carbon compounds; biology through life processes, coordination, reproduction and heredity; and physics through light, electricity and magnetic effects, alongside environmental learning. Check the official document for exact examinable scope before scheduling any chapter or subtopic.
03From explanation to application
After a concept lesson, solve a fresh question without looking at the example. In Science, explain observations and draw labelled diagrams; in Maths, show intermediate steps and check units or conditions where needed. Then use competency-based and exemplar questions that match the current syllabus.
